Debugging

Pat Conrey

If you're reading this, we're sorry. We hope to deliver software that always works, but sometimes goblins get in our code and just tear it up. While we work on tacking down those goblins, here's what we suggest doing.

First and foremost, get in touch with us! It's likely that we already got a report of the problem if the app crashed. But, in many cases, we may not be aware. Reaching out to us is the sure-fire way of letting us know that something isn't working. When you reach out to us, please include the version of the app you're using and a general step-by-step walkthrough of what happened. The more specific you are, the quicker we'll be able to replicate the problem and get a fix deployed.

If you're waiting on a response from us, you can try restarting the app. If that doesn't fix the problem, we'd suggest uninstalling the app and getting a fresh version from here.

Beta is fun because we get to explore all sorts of problems that we didn't know existed. We really appreciate your patience as we solve the problem. If you've told us what's happening, please know that we're working on it, and we'll let you know when the fix is out!
