Mobe's not replying. What do I do?

Sorry to hear things aren’t working as expected. Here are a few things you can try to get Mobe running again. If none of these help, reach out and we’ll take it from there.
First, try ending your session and starting a new one. This resets Mobe’s memory, so he may not pick up with the same context, but it often fixes issues. Click Pause Session, then use the back arrow to return to the home page of the app. You can also quit and reopen the app if you prefer. After that, start a new session as usual.
It’s also worth checking your microphone. On both the Settings page and the HUD you’ll see a volume indicator. That value comes directly from your mic input. If you are speaking and the indicator does not move, Mobe is not receiving audio from your microphone. Open Settings and switch to the correct microphone. Additionally, from your HUD, Mobe should display a pair of headphones on his face when he hears you talking. If you're talking and the headphones don't appear on his face, it's probably a good sign to restart your session.
To tell whether Mobe is not hearing you or just choosing not to respond, try addressing him directly. He should always respond to something like, “Mobe, how are you doing today?” Give a small pause before and after speaking to give him time to listen and reply. During a session he may choose not to respond to every comment based on context or pacing, but he should always answer a direct prompt like that one.
If none of this works, please email support@moonbeam.stream. It helps a lot if you include:
- Your operating system
- Your microphone setup (for example, the model and whether it is USB, built into your webcam, and so on)
- The day and approximate time the problem occurred
- The version of the app, which you can find at the bottom of the Settings page
- The best way to contact you
- Any extra details you think might help, such as “It worked for about an hour and then stopped responding.”
