Setting up your account

Let’s get your account set up.

We use Auth0 to handle authentication. It’s a trusted service used by major platforms. It keeps your login details secure while giving you flexibility in how you sign in.

To begin, download and open the app. Click Get Started. This will open a page in your browser where you can create your account. You can sign up with an email and password, or continue using Twitch or Discord. We may add more options in the future.

If you choose a social login, you might be redirected to that platform’s authorization page. Just confirm that you want to continue or connect your account.

When you sign up using a social platform, we receive only basic profile information such as your email, username, and profile image. We also receive secure tokens that let us keep you signed in.

Once you finish, your browser will ask to open Mobe again. Approve the prompt. The app will reopen and your account will be ready.

That’s it. You’re all set. If you ever want to log out, you can do that from the Settings page in the app.

Note: If you’re joining us from Moonbeam, welcome. Just a quick heads up that you’ll need to create a new account for Mobe. Your Moonbeam login will not work here. You can use the same email when signing up with email and password if you want to, but it’s not required.
